Artist’s Reflection

When I painted Guardian of the North Star, I was thinking about the kind of strength that doesn’t need to prove itself. The wolf has always symbolized that for me — fierce, but not cruel. Powerful, but deeply loyal and watchful.

This piece became a meditation on integrity — on what it means to protect your truth in a world that often asks you to soften it. The North Star felt like the perfect companion: constant, unwavering, always leading you home.
