Artist’s Reflection

When I painted The Night’s Embrace, I was exploring the idea that not all power roars — sometimes it whispers.

There’s a sacred strength in surrender, in letting go long enough to feel held by something beyond yourself. The fox came to me as that symbol — radiant and calm, alive yet still.

I think this painting carries the reminder that rest and stillnes are not a weakness, but a reclamation. We live in a world that glorifies constant motion, yet there is magic in the quiet — in trusting that even when you stop striving, the universe keeps holding you.
