How does it work?

The Creation Process

1. You Contact Me

With the contact form below : You tell me what you have in mind – the size, your idéas etc. Even if you don’t know exactly what you want, no worries! Just share what speaks to you

2. The Initial Conversation

What we will explore : We begin with a deep conversation. This is where the idea is born. I’ll then send you a few artistic directions, as well as a price estimate and a timeline. This part is free and without any commitment

3. I Send a Proposal

What you receive : Based on our conversation, I will send you a detailed concept (sketch, color palet, proposed dimensions, final pricing, clear project outline). This ensures that your inner vision will be reflected in the plan. We then decide on the payment schedule (usually a 30% non-refundable deposit, 35% half-way, and 35% before your artwork is shipped)

4. I Begin Painting

The experience : This is the sacred moment. I begin woking on your painting in my studio, translating your essence into each brushstroke. Even this process is intimate, I will share snippets of the process with pictures that will maintain strong communication until the painting is finally finished and ready to be revealed.

5. The Reveal

The final reasult : After finalizing the piece, you will receive high resolution pictures for your final validation. Once received, the painting will be varnished and prepared to be shipped securely to you, accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity

Timeline:

Creation time varies greatly from one painting to another – usually from 4 to 8 weeks depending on size and composition. The curation time for the oil painting also needs to be taken into account before I can varnish the painting, and this alone is a minimum of 2 weeks.

How does the commission process work?

1. You send me your idea (a photo, memory, or vision).
2. We chat about size, colors, mood, meaning, and your interior space.
3. I prepare a simple sketch or concept so you know the direction.
4. You pay the 30% (non-refundable) deposit and I begin painting.
5. You receive progress updates, depending on your preference.
6. At the half-way point, you pay another 35%
6. Once the commission finished, I send photos/video for your final approval.
7. You pay the remaining 35%, and I deliver or ship your artwork.

How long does a commission take?

It depends on size and complexity, but typically:
Small: 1–2 weeks
Medium: 2–4 weeks
Large: 4–6+ weeks
1-2 weeks need to be added to these timelines to allow the oil paint to cure before I varnish your commission

If you need it sooner (birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas), please let me know — I sometimes open priority slots.

Do you accept custom requests or unusual subjects?

Absolutely.
Animals, landscapes, memories, symbolic pieces, emotional themes — I love exploring new ideas.
If it fits my style, I can create it.

Can I see the artwork before it’s finished?

Yes!
I send updates during painting, unless you prefer a surprise.
You can request small adjustments at this stage.

What materials do you use?

I use high-quality professional acrylics and canvases designed to last decades without fading.
I paint mainly on gallery wrapped canvas, with mixed media and oil.
I always make an effort to choose and use materials and are responsibly sourced and are environmentally friendly

Do you ship?

Yes — I ship across Switzerland and internationally. Shipping is included in the price – no additional charges will be incurred!

What if I don’t know exactly what I want?

That’s totally okay — it’s more common than you think. Sometimes it’s even easier for me this way, as it gives me more artist freedom 😉
But I guide you through:

-selecting colors
-deciding the level of detail
-connecting the artwork to your story

Can I pay in installments?

Yes — you can pay in two or three installments if that helps – with no additional cost for you. The first (non-refundable) installment of 30% is required to book the commission, and the full amount must be paid before the the artwork is shipped.

What if I’m not happy with the final painting?

My process includes approvals and adjustments, so every client so far has been thrilled with the results.
If needed, I make minor modifications at the final stage.
